Draft — not yet reviewed by a lawyer
This document was drafted for the software and describes how it actually works, but it has not been reviewed by a lawyer and does not establish that The Lotto is lawful in any jurisdiction. The operator must have it reviewed by qualified counsel before launch. Bracketed items are details only the operator can supply.Jurisdiction restrictions
Lotteries and games of chance are tightly regulated or prohibited in many countries and states, and crypto tokens may be regulated as well. Participation is not offered where it is unlawful, including in: [LIST OF RESTRICTED JURISDICTIONS — to be determined by counsel]. No licence, approval or registration is claimed for The Lotto. Check your local laws before acquiring $LOTTO.
Age restriction
You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live if higher.

Token risk
$LOTTO's price can be extremely volatile and can fall to zero. It carries no rights to profits, dividends or redemption. Holding it is not an investment product and is not protected by any deposit or investor-compensation scheme.
Smart-contract risk
The lottery program may contain bugs. Audit status: no independent security audit has been completed yet; until one is published, assume the program may contain undiscovered bugs. The program is upgradeable by its upgrade authority unless that authority is revoked; an upgrade could change behaviour. Check the program's upgrade authority on the transparency page.
Liquidity risk
Liquidity for $LOTTO is provided in a Meteora pool. Liquidity can be thin or withdrawn, causing large price impact or making it impossible to sell. Swaps are executed by third-party software at your own risk.
Randomness and snapshot risk
Winners are drawn with randomness from a third-party oracle, ORAO VRF. Each request's seed is fixed only after the snapshot is committed and mixes in a recent Solana slot hash, so nobody can know the outcome when the snapshot is fixed. You still rely on ORAO's signers being honest and available: a compromised oracle working with the operator could influence which snapshot gets drawn, and an unavailable oracle delays or cancels rounds. Snapshot balances are read by the operator's indexer and committed on-chain; they are published so anyone can check them, but checking balances fully requires historical chain data.
Operational risk
Drawings depend on an off-chain keeper and RPC providers. Outages can delay rounds. The administrator can pause the lottery in an emergency, which delays drawings and payouts. A round with more than 131,072 eligible wallets cannot be drawn. Rounds that cannot complete are cancelled and their prize stays in the vault for later rounds.
Scams and impersonation
Never share your seed phrase. The Lotto will never DM you, ask you to “validate” a wallet, or ask you to send funds to claim a prize — prizes are paid on-chain automatically. Verify the mint address and the website domain every time.
Tax
Prizes and token transactions may be taxable. You are responsible for your own tax reporting.
